Adam's Apple Offered By Hand

Saddleback Church and End-Time Deception

I believe that these are times of a "falling away" from Biblical truth within the churches. This is evidently the time which was prophesied in the Bible as the "Great Apostasy" of the "Last Days" before Christ returns to Earth to set up His Kingdom.  If these are indeed the Last Days of this prophesied "Great Apostasy", then we should well expect to see many men and women actually become apostates.  That Old Snake is still offering his religious fruit to the unsuspecting and to the gullible.  Nevertheless, all of Satan's apples still have worms in them.

"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine;  but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;  And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables." (2 Timothy 4:3-4)

All too often, people rush after what Satan offers, even though Satan is a liar and the enemy of their souls.   People love his Rock and Roll music, even in the church.  They love to go to Sin City Las Vegas.  They love to miss church, live for money and sex, and pretend that they can just pray some magic prayer as a ticket to sin, so long as they "sincerely"  believe that such a magic prayer itself will save them.

Such demonic spiritual deception generally goes right along with apostasy.  Satan is a "liar, and the father of it". (John 8:44)  Satan apostatized away from his place up in Heaven with God.  The Bible says that one day the Antichrist (Anti-Christ) and his False Prophet will speak great lying words in the power of Satan, in order "...that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect." (Matthew 24:24)

There is much that could be said about Satanic deception, Rick Warren, and the current Ecumenical Movement/End-Time Apostasy.  Nevertheless, we believe that the following links should prove beneficial in providing you with a more in-depth analysis of the deep sin and compromise that we see all too often within Christendom today.
